Several Parts of country receiving rain including season’s first snow falling, cold winds will move to Karachi in next 8-1o days

Islamabad-PAKISTAN –The Several Parts of country receiving rain including Islamabad upper, central and northern area on other day night, ending a long dry spell. Main hilly areas including Murree hills are also receiving suasions first snowfall. A met office spokesman media that intermittent rain is going on in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Peshawar, Hazara region, Mardan, Malakand, Dir, Chitral, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.The spokesman said the main hills areas are also receiving snowfall and rain. First rain and snowfall of winter season hit different parts of Pakistan. Light drizzle rain and snow falling started in mostly upper parts of the country early Wednesday morning This ended the prolonged dry winter spell and increases the cold in Pakistan. The Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar and other cities have the drizzle while heavy rain took place in Astore, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Neelum, Chitral, Hattian and Rawalkot. Most of the Northern mountainous areas including Chitral, Malamjabba, Kalam, Swat, Ayubia and Murree are receiving season’s first snow fall.Lowari Top is being closed for all the traffic and public movement. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, intermittent rain/thunderstorm and snowfall are expected to continue from Tuesday to Saturday. Quetta and Zhob are expected to receive light rain in next few days.Malakand, Hazara divisions, Galliyat, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are expected to have light to moderate snow fall. Furthermore, and authorities have issued a warning of expected land sliding in KP, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Meanwhile dense fog has affected the daily life in many cities of the country. Meanwhile the PMD forecasted rain and snowfall across the country on Monday as cold winds entered in Pakistan. According to DG PMD, the cold winds will move to Karachi in next 8-1o days. Mean while a large number of peoples looks busy in rainy seasons to enjoy the delicious spicy food Food is our best friend and to munch on those tasty snacks during rainy season. The food items like Pakoras & samosas remains most desired food in rainy season.
