Senior Pakistani Sports journalist Asghar Ali Mubarak and founder Chairman South Asian Sports Journalists Association, called on Mr. Shakeel Khan Public Relation Officer of the Pakistan Cricket Board at Lahore LAHORE;(PPA) The senior Pakistani Sports journalist Asghar Ali Mubarak and founder Chairman South Asian Sports Journalists Association, called on Mr. Shakeel Khan the Public Relation Officer of the Pakistan Cricket Board at Gaddafi Stadium, in Lahore on Tuesday to inquired about his health and prayed for long life and prosperity,he also present a flower bouquet on behalf of twin cities sports journalists community.Media related various issues of mutual interest were discussed during one on one meeting Mr. .Shakeel Khan the Public Relation Officer of the Pakistan Cricket Board briefed about the plans of PCB for the promotions of the recently announced nationwide school cricket tournament. The tournament will be known as the Hafeez Kardar Cup. This will be organized by PCB and administered by all 16 regions. Junior selectors will be tasked to monitor this tournament and shortlist the best players for training at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. He also met with the staff of the national cricket academy and got their professional opinion on various matters relating to training facilities available for players at the NCA. Asghar has also assured his support and full cooperation without fear or favor for the promotion of cricket culture in Pakistan and thanked the PCB Public Relation department for cooperation with media during the ongoing Cool & Cool presents Jazz National T20 Cup 2016 at Pindi Cricket stadium Rawalpindi. The “Cricket is a unifying force,’ I wish Pakistan Cricket Board success in its efforts to further promote the game in the country,” said Asghar.
