PTI public meeting at Parade Ground Islamabad; Imran Khan Demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the wake of Panama Leaks verdict

ISLAMABAD: A large numbers of peoples gathered Friday at Parade Ground in Islamabad where Imran Khan while addressing to PTI supporters demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the wake of Panama Leaks verdict.It was the party’s first rally since the Supreme Court of Pakistan announced the verdict of the Panama Papers case against the members of the Sharif family. Along with PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Shiekh Rashid and other PTI leaders also address the peoples. While addressing the peoples the KPK CM Khattak stated that “We have worked day in and day lit to establish a system which could deliver for the common people,” he said. “I believe in good governance. No system can ever work without autonomous and strong institutions.””We made all the information public with and granted the Right to Information to the people. We passed the whistle-blower and conflict of interest laws to establish a corruption free system “he added .Addressing the gathering, AML head Sheikh Rashid said that he was a companion of Imran Khan who was the only ray of hope for the nation.”I want to directly address Pakistan army and tell them that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is a security risk,” he said, adding that ‘Go Nawaz Go’ was the voice of the nation. Earlier, PTI MNA Asad Umar addressed and commented on deteriorating economic situation & corruption in Pakistan. Large numbers of PTI supporters, including women workers attended the Parade Ground people’s gathering.DJ Wali Son provides entertainment during the public meeting. He played party anthems and songs. Three hundred speakers have also been set up at the rally venue.
