ISLAMABAD: The Federal Minister for Finance, Ishaq Dar on other day said the government has dispatched to the Chief Justice of Pakistan a letter containing the terms of reference (TORs) and scope of the probe into the allegations linked to Panama Papers.
Talking to media at Pakistan Sports Board Islamabad, Ishaq Dar said the opposition may convey its objections, if any, by holding a meeting.
He said if the opposition wants to suggest a different scope for the probe it can bring it before public.
“If the opposition makes reasonable recommendations, the government may decide to adopt the same,” the Finance Minister said.
He said the Prime Minister could undertake another visit abroad for his medical treatment, adding, however, that the PM would himself make a decision in this regard.
Ishaq Dar said the PM had received medicines for four weeks during his last visit to UK. Meanwhile finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the government has that not a single case of corruption has been reported in development and welfare projects launched by the present government
In an interview, he said the government has put the country on the path of economic stability.

Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada speaking at the concluding ceremony of the Quaid-i-Azam Inter Provincial Games at Liaqut Gymnasium Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad, the Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar who was the chief guest at the occasion to grant an amount of Rs 100 million for the renovation and up-gradation of the Pakistan Sports Complex.
He said it is an honour for him to host the Games as players, coaches, officials etc have been here participating in the Games from all over the country. “Our staff (IPC and PSB officials) didn’t even sleep to organize this event in a benefitting manner,” he said. Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar appreciated the efforts of Director General Pakistan Sports Board Dr,Akhtar Nawaz Ghanjera for the promotion of sports in the country.
