ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Vs World-V Series started at Mushaf Squash Complex. Best 05 players from world – Leo Au (33) form HKG, Karim-Al-Fathi (35) from Egypt, Lucas Serme (44) from France, Todd Harrity (51) from USA and Nathan Lake (53) from England have turned up to play against Pakistani professional players.The Opening Match was played between Leo Au from HKG and Farhan Zaman from Pakistan. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, President PSF graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Squash legend Mr Qamar Zaman and Jansher Khan along with SVP PSF Air Marshal Shahid Akhtar Alvi and a large number of squash enthusiasts were also present at the event. Mr Leo Au defeated Mr Farhan Zaman with a game score of 15/13/, 11/8, 11/9. The match lasted for 59 minutes.The 2nd Match was played between Todd Harrity from USA and Israr Ahmad from Pakistan. Mr Israr Ahmed defeated Mr Todd Harrity with a game score of 11/7, 11/6, 4/11, 12/10. The match lasted for 38 minutes.Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has been putting tremendous efforts for the promotion of Squash in the country. While in absence of international squash, PSF intends to send a message across that we have every potential to conduct mega squash activities and to host top world players in an efficient manner. In the same context, PSF has organized two mega squash series at Islamabad.
