Due to hailstorm in Rawalpindi, the fourth T20 match between Pakistan and New Zealand remained without result. The fourth T20 match of the 5-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand teams played in Rawalpindi was ended without result. Earlier, the ongoing match in Rawalpindi was stopped due to rain and hailstorm. Before the match was stopped due to rain, New Zealand scored 164 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 19 overs while batting first at the invitation of Pakistan. On behalf of Pakistan, all-rounder Imad Wasim dismissed 3 Kiwi batsmen by giving 19 runs in 4 overs. Apart from them, fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf took one wicket each. Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and invited New Zealand to bat. It should be remembered that Pakistan has a two-one lead in the 5-match series against New Zealand.

راولپنڈی میں ژالہ باری کے باعث پاک نیوزی لینڈ چوتھا ٹی ٹوئنٹی میچ بغیر نتیجہ رہا .پاکستان اور نیوزی لینڈ کی ٹیموں کے درمیان 5 میچوں کی سیریز کا راولپنڈی میں کھیلے جانے والا چوتھا ٹی 20 میچ بے نتیجہ ختم کردیاگیا۔ قبل ازیں روالپنڈی میں جاری میچ بارش اور ژالہ باری کے باعث روک دیا گیا تھا۔بارش کے باعث میچ روکے جانے سے قبل پاکستان کی دعوت پر پہلے بیٹنگ کرتے ہوئے نیوزی لینڈ نے 19 اوورز میں 5 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر 164 رنز بنالیے تھے۔نیوزی لینڈ کی جانب سے مارک چیپ مین 71 رنز بنا کر ناٹ آؤٹ ہیں جب کہ چیڈ بوز 54، کپتان ٹام لیتھم 13، رچن روندرا 8، ول ینگ 6 اور ڈیرل مچل 3 رنز بنا کر آوٹ ہوئے۔
پاکستان کی جانب سے آل راؤنڈر عماد وسیم نے 4 اوورز میں 19 رنز دے کر 3 کیوی بلے بازوں کو آؤٹ کیا۔ان کے علاوہ فاسٹ باؤلر شاہین شاہ آفریدی اور حارث رؤف نے ایک ایک وکٹ حاصل کی۔ اس سے قبل پاکستان نے ٹاس جیت کر نیوزی لینڈ کو بیٹنگ کی دعوت دی تھی۔یاد رہے کہ پاکستان کو نیوزی لینڈ کے خلاف 5 میچوں کی سیزیز میں دو ایک کی برتری حاصل ہے۔
اس سے قبل سیریز کے تیسرے میچ میں نیوزی لینڈ نے پاکستان کو سنسی خیز مقابلے کے بعد 4 رنز سے شکست دے دی تھی، قومی بلے باز افتخار احمد کی 24 گیندوں پر 60 رنز کی جارحانہ اننگز رائیگاں گئی تھی۔
پاکستان نے بابر اعظم کی شاندار سنچری اور حارث رؤف کی بہترین باؤلنگ کی بدولت نیوزی لینڈ کو دوسرے ٹی20 میچ میں 38رنز سے شکست دے کر سیریز میں 0-2 کی برتری حاصل کر لی تھی۔
سیریز کے پہلے ٹی20 میچ میں پاکستان نے حارث رؤف کی شاندار باؤلنگ کی بدولت مہمان ٹیم کو صرف 94 رنز پر ڈھیر کر کے میچ میں 88 رنز سے کامیابی حاصل کی تھی۔
