پاکستان سپر لیگ کے آٹھویں ایڈیشن کے میچ میں راشد خان کی عمدہ باؤلنگ کی بدولت لاہور قلندرز نے ملتان سلطانز کو 21رنز سے شکست دے کر ایونٹ کے پلے آف مرحلے تک رسائی حاصل کر لی ہے ۔
لاہور میں کھیلے گئے پاکستان سپر لیگ کے آٹھویں ایڈیشن کے 20ویں میچ میں لاہور قلندرز نے ٹاس جیت کر ملتان سلطانز کو باؤلنگ کی دعوت دی۔
لاہور قلندرز کی اننگز کا آغاز کچھ اچھا نہ تھا اور FAKHAR زمان پہلے اوور میں کھاتا کھولے بغیر ہی پویلین لوٹ گئے۔
مرزا طاہر بیگ کا ساتھ دینے عبداللہ شفیق آئے اور دونوں نے 50 رنز کی شراکت قائم کر کے اپنی ٹیم کو اچھی بنیاد فراہم کی لیکن اسی اسکور پر طاہر بیگ 17رنز بنانے کے بعد احسان اللہ کی وکٹ بن گئے۔
عبداللہ شفیق نے دوسرے اینڈ سے ذمے دارانہ بیٹنگ کی اور نئے بلے باز سیم بلنگز کے ہمراہ 69 رنز کی شراکت کر کے ایک بڑے اسکور کی راہ ہموار کی۔
عبداللہ شفیق نے 48 اور بلنگز نے 35 گیندوں پر 54 رنز کی اننگز کھیلی لیکن اختتامی اوورز میں ملتان سلطانز کے باؤلرز کی نپی تلی باؤلنگ کے سبب قلندرز کی ٹیم تیزی سے رنز نہ بنا سکی اور وقتاً فوقتاً وکٹیں گنواتی رہی۔
لاہور قلندرز کی ٹیم مقررہ اوورز میں 9 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر 180رنز بنا سکی۔
ملتان سلطانز کی جانب سے انور علی، احسان اللہ، عباس آفریدی اور کیرون پولارڈ نے دو، دو وکٹیں حاصل کیں۔دف کے تعاقب میں سلطانز کے اوپنرز محمد رضوان اور شان مسعود نے اپنی ٹیم کو 48 رنز کا عمدہ آغاز فراہم کیا،
Shan مسعود آؤٹ ہونے والے پہلے کھلاڑی تھے جو 19 رنز بنانے کے بعد پویلین لوٹے۔
ٹورنامنٹ میں سب سے زیادہ رنز بنانے والے محمد رضوان نے اس مرتبہ بھی 30 رنز کی اننگز کھیلی لیکن اس سے قبل کہ وہ قلندرز کے لیے خطرناک ثابت ہوتے، Sikandar رضا نے ان کا کام تمام کردیا۔
اسامہ میر کو اوپری نمبروں پر بیٹنگ کے لیے بھیجا گیا لیکن راشد خان نے انہیں آؤٹ کرنے کے بعد اسی اوور میں ڈیوڈ ملر کو بھی چلتا کر کے سلطانز کو یکے بعد دیگرے دو نقصان پہنچائے۔
ابھی سلطانز اس نقصان سے سنبھلے بھی نہ تھے کہ راشد خان نے اپنے اگلے اوور میں رائلی روسو کو بولڈ کر کے میچ کا پنسہ پلٹ دیا۔
اس کے بعد بڑھتے رن ریٹ کے سبب سلطانز مسلسل دباؤ کا شکار رہے اور کیرن پولارڈ کی 39 رنز کی اننگز کے باوجود مقررہ اوورز میں 7 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر 159 رنز بنا سکے۔

Thanks to Rashid Khan’s excellent bowling in the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League, the Lahore Qalandars have reached the playoff stage of the event by beating Multan Sultans by 21 runs.
In the 20th match of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League played in Lahore, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bowl.
The Lahore Qalandars’ innings was not good and Fakhar Zaman returned to the pavilion without opening the account in the first over.
Abdullah Shafiq came to support Mirza Tahir Baig and they both set up a 50 -run partnership and provided a good basis to their team, but on the same score, Tahir Beg became Ehsanullah’s wicket after scoring 17 runs.
Abdullah Shafiq batted responsibly with the other end and paved the way for a big score by contributing 69 runs with the new batsman Sam Billings.
Abdullah Shafiq scored 48 and Billings scored 54 off 35 balls, but in the closing overs, the Qalandars team failed to score fast due to the bowlers’ bowlers of Multan Sultans and continued to score wickets from time to time.
The Lahore Qalandars team scored 180 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated overs.
Anwar Ali, Ehsanullah, Abbas Afridi and Kieron Pollard took two wickets each from Multan Sultans.
Shan Masood was the first player to be out to return to the pavilion after scoring 19 runs.
Mohammad Rizwan, the highest scorer in the tournament, also played 30 runs this time, but before he was dangerous for Qalandars, Sikandar Raza completed his work.
Osama Mir was sent to the upper numbers for batting, but Rashid Khan, after being dismissed for him, also operated David Miller in the same over and did two damage to the Sultans.
Sultans were not even able to handle the loss that Rashid Khan bowled the Royal Russo in his next over and overturned the match.
