FIR registered of Imran Khan’s container firing

Islamabad: The FIR of firing on the container of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has been registered in police station City Wazirabad under the sections 302, 224, 440 and 7ATA by the complainant Punjab Police Sub-Inspector Aamir Shehzad of Police Station City Wazirabad. According to the text of the FIR number 691/22, firing was done from the left side of the container, by one accused Naveed son Bashir. In the text of the case, it is said that Chairman PTI Imran Khan along with other leaders was coming from Wazirabad on a container from Allahwala Chowk, around 4 pm, the accused Naveed opened fire with a pistol from the left side of the container. Chairman PTI Imran Khan was injured on the container. The FIR mentions 11 known and some unknown injured including Muhammad Ahmed Chatha, Hamza Altaf. In the text of the FIR, it is said that one of the worker in the rally, Hasan Ibtisam, tried to catch the shooter’s head, due to which the shooter could not fire any more, Imran Khan left for Lahore after receiving medical aid.

Earlier it was said that the FIR will be presented in the Supreme Court today. Police sources said that the FIR will be made public after it is submitted to the Supreme Court.

It should be remembered that Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan was injured in the assassination attack during the long march in Wazirabad on November 3.
