Islamabad; A lady reporter of Channel 5 attending the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march died after being crushed under Imran Khan s container. It is being said that the deceased Sadaf Naeem a reporter of Channel 5. After the tragic incident, Imran Khan called off activities for the day.
According to the rescue 1122 spokesperson, the female reporter fell down while getting down from a container and fell under Imran Khan’s container while going to Kamonki, District Gujranwala, The long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf continues for the third day. An accident has occurred on the way to Kamonki.
Meanwhile after the accident, Imran Khan’s car was stopped on GT Road and after the accident, Imran Khan himself got down from the car. After the accident, Imran Khan stopped the march and said in his speech that unfortunately there was an accident and we were supposed to go to Kamonki but due to the accident the march had to be stopped.
Speaking to the participants, Imran Khan said that the march was supposed to move towards Kamoke, Gujranwala, and today. “However, due to the tragic incident, we will stop the march immediately.”
Khan also sent his condolences to the family of the deceased and said that he would pray for the departed soul.
More over Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while reacting to the death of the journalist on Twitter, said that he was deeply saddened by the death of reporter Sadaf Naeem after falling from the long march container.The premier further wrote in his tweet that Sadaf Naeem was a dynamic and hardworking reporter, adding that he prays for the forgiveness of the deceased and patience for the family.
