Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first in the 4th game of Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 league at Dubai cricket stadium The Gladiators secured a comfortable win against Karachi by chasing the target of 148 in just 17.2 overs for 2 wickets.Ahmed Shahzad scored remarkable 71 off 46 deliveries and clinched the title of man of the match. His superb innings consisted of 5 fours and 6 sixes. Luke Wright made 47 runs. Kevin Petersen and Sarfaraz Ahmed remained not out with 29 and 2 runs respectively.Quetta Gladiators also secured a total of 4 extras. Left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz bagged four wickets for 13 runs as Quetta restricted Islamabad to a below-par 128-7 before riding on the Luke Wright’s unbeaten 86 off 53 to chase down the modest target in 16 overs.After the ball, Nawaz also shined with bat and scored 22 not out in his unbroken 59-run partnership with Wright.The Karachi, beat Lahore Qaladars by seven wickets in their tournament opener on last Friday.The Left-arm Pacer Mohammad Amir, who recently made a comeback to the international cricket after completing a five-year spot-fixing ban, claimed the first hat-trick of the tournament as Karachi restricted Qalandars to 125-8.They lost Nauman Anwar and James Vince early in the little chase before Lendl Simmons, and Shakib Al Hasan struck half-centuries to steer them home with 25 balls to spare.Both Karachi and Lahore sides look evenly matched, and it promises to be a worth-watching affair.The Karachi will take on Islamabad in their third match on Sunday while Quetta will play their next game against Lahore on Monday.
