Pakistan Tourism Sports and Family Festival will promote tourism in the country, Sardar Yasir Ilyasپاکستان ٹورازم سپورٹس اینڈ فیملی فیسٹول ملک میں سیاحت کو فروغ دے گا، سردار یاسر الیاس
(اصغر علی مبارک )وزیراعظم کے کوآرڈینیٹر برائے سیاحت سردار یاسر الیاس نے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان ٹورازم سپورٹس اینڈ فیملی فیسٹول ملک میں سیاحت کو فروغ دینے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا، سیاحت کے ذریعے 40 ارب ڈالر سالانہ تک حاصل کئے جاسکتے ہیں، پاکستان ایک مہمان نواز اور پرکشش مقامات رکھنے والا ملک ہے ، حکومت ملک میں سیاحت کو فروغ دینے کے لئے تمام دستیاب وسائل بروئے کار لائے گی۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار انہوں نے جمعہ کو پاکستان ٹورازم سپورٹس اینڈ فیملی فیسٹول کے انتظامات کے حوالے سے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ سردار یاسر الیاس خان نے کہا کہ پاکستان ٹورازم سپورٹس اینڈ فیملی فیسٹیول ( آج )ہفتہ سے اسلام آباد میں شروع ہوگا۔ دو روزہ فیسٹول کے مقابلے ایف نائن پارک اور اسلام آباد سپورٹس کمپلیکس میں ہوں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ فیسٹول کا مقصد پاکستان کے مثبت تشخص کو اجاگر کرنا،سیاحت کا فروغ اور عوام کو سیاحتی مقامات سے آگاہی فراہم کرنا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ فیسٹول میں فیملیز کے لئے انٹری مکمل طور پر مفت ہےیہ ایک قومی سطح کا میگا ایونٹ ہے جس کا مقصدپاکستان کی سیاحتی صلاحیتوں کو اجاگر کرنا،کھیلوں اور ایڈونچر ٹورازم کو فروغ دینا،اسلام آباد کو ایک متحرک سیاحتی مرکز کے طور پر پیش کرنا ہے،یہ ایونٹ خصوصی طور پر فیملیز اور خواتین کے لئے منعقد کیا جا رہا ہےتاکہ ایک محفوظ، خوشگوار اور باوقار ماحول میں تفریح اور ثقافت سے لطف اندوز ہو سکیں۔ بغیر کسی ٹکٹ کےفیملیز کے ساتھ اس شاندار فیسٹول کا لطف اٹھائیں۔ سردار یاسر الیاس نے کہا کہ ایونٹ میں روایتی و ثقافتی کھیلوں خصوصاً ٹینٹ پیگنگ، مختلف سپورٹس سرگرمیوں، کار اور بائیک شو، ثقافتی مظاہروں، علاقائی کھانوں کے سٹالز، موسیقی اور دیگر تفریحی پروگرامز کا اہتمام کیا گیا ہے،فیسٹیول کے دوران کار شو، موٹر بائیک شو، پیرا گلائیڈنگ، نیزہ بازی اور فیملیز کے لئے متعدد دیگر ایونٹس منعقد کئے جائیں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان کے مشہور روایتی کھیل نیزہ بازی کے مقابلے میں ملک بھر سے 50سے زائد ٹیمیں شرکت کریں گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ مقابلے شائقین کے لئے خصوصی کشش کا باعث ہوں گے اور پاکستان کے روایتی کھیلوں کے فروغ میں اہم کردار ادا کریں گے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ شہریوں اور سیاحوں کو بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی دعوت دی جاتی ہے تاکہ وہ کھیل، ثقافت اور تفریح سے بھرپور اس قومی فیسٹول کا حصہ بن سکیں۔ سردار یاسر الیاس نے کہا کہ اس میگا ایونٹ کے ذریعے پوری دنیا میں پاکستان کا سافٹ امیج ابھرے گا اور پوری دنیا میں یہ پیغام جائے گا کہ ہم ایک پر امن ملک ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس ایونٹ کے لیے وفاقی حکومت ، بین الصوبائی وزارت ، ٹورازم کارپوریشن ، سی ڈی اے اور دیگر ادارے مل کر کام کر رہے ہیں ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ ایسے میگا ایونٹس پورے پاکستان میں آرگنائز کئے جائیں تاکہ لوگوں کو معیاری تفریح میسر آسکے ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس میگا ایونٹ کے لئے ٹریفک پلان بھی ترتیب دے دیا گیا ہے تاکہ عوام کو زحمت نہ اٹھانا پڑے۔ فیسٹول کے بارے میں بات کرتے ہوئے، بین الصوبائی رابطہ کی وزارت کے سیکرٹری محی الدین وانی نے کہا کہ پاکستان ٹورازم، سپورٹس اینڈ فیملی فیسٹول 2026 ملکی سیاحت، ثقافتی ہم آہنگی اور صحت مند تفریحی سرگرمیوں کو فروغ دینے کے لئے حکومت کے عزم کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ یہ فیسٹول سیاحت، کھیل اور ثقافت کو ایک پلیٹ فارم پر اکٹھا کرتا ہے اور اسلام آباد کو سیاحوں کے لیے ایک خوش آئند اور متحرک مقام کے طور پر اجاگر کرتا ہے۔ اس میگا نیشنل ایونٹ کا انعقاد بین الصوبائی رابطہ کی وزارت، پاکستان ٹورازم ڈویلپمنٹ کارپوریشن، صوبائی محکمہ سیاحت اور اہم سرکاری و نجی شعبے کے سٹیک ہولڈرز کے اشتراک سے کیا جا رہا ہے۔ یہ فیسٹول 31 جنوری اور یکم فروری 2026 کو جناح سپورٹس کمپلیکس، اسلام آباد میں منعقد ہوگا، جس کا ایک اہم سائیڈ ایونٹ ایف ۔ 9 پارک میں ہوگا۔ فیسٹول میں سیاحت کے فروغ کے سٹالز، صوبائی ثقافتی پرفارمنس، ثقافتی نمائش، آرٹ اینڈ کرافٹ سٹالز، لائیو پینٹنگ، فوٹو گرافی کی نمائش، جواہرات اور زیورات کی نمائش، علاقائی کھانوں پر مشتمل فوڈ فیسٹول، فیملی اور بچوں کی سرگرمیاں، میڈیکل ٹورازم پروموشن کے ذریعے ڈبل سائیکلنگ، بس سائکلنگ ایونٹس شامل ہیں۔ گرم ہوا کے غبارے کا ڈسپلے، پیرا گلائیڈنگ کے مظاہرے (مونال سے اڑتے ہوئے گلائیڈرز جو ایف ۔6 کرکٹ گراؤنڈ پر اتریں گے) اور ایک میوزیکل کنسرٹ کا انعقاد کیا جائے گا ۔ایک خصوصی سائیڈ ایونٹ، 31 جنوری 2026 کو صبح 10 بجے سے شام 5 بجے تک ایف نائن پارک میں ٹینٹ پیگنگ مقابلہ منعقد کیا جائے گا۔
(Asghar Ali Mubarak) Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Tourism Sardar Yasir Ilyas has said that the Pakistan Tourism Sports and Family Festival will play an important role in promoting tourism in the country, up to 40 billion dollars can be earned annually through tourism, Pakistan is a hospitable country with attractive places, the government will utilize all available resources to promote tourism in the country. He expressed these views while talking to the media on Friday regarding the arrangements for the Pakistan Tourism Sports and Family Festival. Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan said that the Pakistan Tourism Sports and Family Festival will start in Islamabad from today (Saturday). The two-day festival competitions will be held at F-9 Park and Islamabad Sports Complex. He said that the aim of the festival is to highlight the positive image of Pakistan, promote tourism and provide awareness to the public about tourist destinations. He said that entry for families in the festival is completely free. This is a national-level mega event aimed at highlighting Pakistan’s tourism potential, promoting sports and adventure tourism, and presenting Islamabad as a vibrant tourism hub. This event is being organized exclusively for families and women so that they can enjoy entertainment and culture in a safe, pleasant and dignified environment. Enjoy this wonderful festival with families without any tickets. Sardar Yasir Ilyas said that the event will feature traditional and cultural sports, especially tent pegging, various sports activities, car and bike shows, cultural demonstrations, regional food stalls, music and other entertainment programs. Car shows, motorbike shows, paragliding, spear throwing and many other events for families will be organized during the festival. He said that more than 50 teams from across the country will participate in the famous traditional sport of Pakistan, spear throwing. He said that these competitions will be a special attraction for the fans and will play an important role in the promotion of traditional sports of Pakistan. He said that citizens and tourists are invited to participate in large numbers so that they can be a part of this national festival full of sports, culture and entertainment. Sardar Yasir Ilyas said that through this mega event, Pakistan’s soft image will emerge all over the world and the message will be sent to the whole world that we are a peaceful country. He said that the federal government, inter-provincial ministry, tourism corporation, CDA and other institutions are working together for this event. He said that we want such mega events to be organized all over Pakistan so that people can get quality entertainment. He said that a traffic plan has also been prepared for this mega event so that the people do not have to face any trouble. Speaking about the festival, Secretary, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, Mohiuddin Wani said that the Pakistan Tourism, Sports and Family Festival 2026 reflects the government’s commitment to promote domestic tourism, cultural harmony and healthy recreational activities. The festival brings together tourism, sports and culture on one platform and highlights Islamabad as a welcoming and vibrant destination for tourists. This mega national event is being organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation, Provincial Tourism Department and key public and private sector stakeholders. The festival will be held on January 31 and February 1, 2026 at Jinnah Sports Complex, Islamabad, with a major side event at F-9 Park. The festival includes tourism promotion stalls, provincial cultural performances, cultural exhibitions, art and craft stalls, live painting, photography exhibition, gem and jewellery exhibition, food festival featuring regional cuisine, family and children’s activities, medical tourism promotion through double cycling, bus cycling events. A hot air balloon display, paragliding demonstrations (gliders flying from Monal which will land on the F-6 cricket ground) and a musical concert will be organized. A special side event, a tent pegging competition, will be held on January 31, 2026 from 10 am to 5 pm at F-9 Park.
