The Japan following India’s step, refused to issue visas to Pakistan’s martial arts So -Kyokushin Kaikan Karate Pakistan team to participate in world So -Kyokushin Kaikan Karate champion ship2017 started 14th April in Japan. So -Kyokushin Kaikan Karate Pakistan, an affiliated unit with world so-kyokushin Japan .According to details a 4-members Pakistani team comprising 3 players Ahmed bin Abid Mehmood ,Bilal Anwar,muhammad saghir and a manager Shihan Abid mehmood were due to leave for Japan today (11th April 2018 ). They applied for visa few days back. Till yesterday evening visas were not issued forcing the Pakistani time to call off their visit. It is pertinent to mention here that the four-day event of the world so-kyokushin Japan is rolling from tomorrow at Tokyo. Around 70 men and women martial arts from 27 countries will take part in two days event. Beside from host country Japan, participants from Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Iran, Uganda, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Mauritania, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Libya, Morocco, Nepal and Bhutan will be contesting. Last year Pakistani team Pakistan branch Chief Shihan Muhammad Abid, Ahmed bin Abid Mehmood and Bilal Anwar participated in the mega event and showed some classic performance in Kyokushin Kaikan Japan championship 2016-17. It is mentioned here that our team regularly participating in international martial arts sports activities to high lights peace message in the world. Pakistan is sports loving country and sends its sports teams to strengthen the social and people to people contact through our sports diplomacy. The Pakistani team’s refusal visa by Japanese embassy Islamabad is shocking news for entire Pakistani nation. Mean while Asghar Ali Mubarak the president diplomatic correspondents forum of Pakistan demanded the Japanese government to resolve the issue on early bases. “It is unfortunate that japan, despite being the host of the World championship, is refusing to fulfill its obligations and creating hurdles,” said the president diplomatic correspondents’ forum of Pakistan.
