Fool proof security is being provided to foreign players in international squash competitions; says, Armghan Aziz Secretary PSF Pakistan Squash Federation

There no security issues in Pakistan for international players fool proof security is being provided to foreign players for Chief of the Air Staff-Serena Hotels International for Men and Serena Hotels-Combaxx Sports International Squash Tournament for Women. This was stated by Secretary Pakistan Squash Federation Armghan Aziz Honey, CEO Combaxx Sports Omar Saeed, Director Admin Pakistan Squash Federation Aftab Sadiq Qureshi and Mr. Hussain Odhwani while addressing press conference after the unveiling ceremony of trophies of Chief of Air Staff International Squash Championships. He stated that It is an honor to host international squash competitions despite the Covid 19 challenges. The Chief of Air Staff International Squash Competition for Men and Women will be played in Islamabad from October 11 to 15, he said. He said that Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has been putting wonderful efforts for the elevation of Squash in the country. He stated that   PSF intends to send a message across the world that we have every potential to conduct mega squash activities and to host top world players in an efficient manner. Our print & electronic media has always played an important role in providing excellent coverage of squash activities and helped in projection of country’s soft image abroad. He said that ‘’In continuation of our plans for revival of international squash, PSF would be organizing Chief of the Air Staff-Serena Hotels International for Men and Serena Hotels-Combaxx Sports International Squash Tournament for Women’’. He added.  He said that besides Pakistan, world ranking Men & Women players from Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, England, Espain, France, Hong Kong, Russia, Serbia and Switzerland are participating. Serena Hotels & Combaxx Sports have very kindly joined hand with PSF and Pakistan Air Force for the national cause of promoting squash in the country. We heartily appreciate the Sports Diplomacy initiative as shared by Serena Hotel as their integral part to build stronger relations with communities. Pakistan has a tradition of excellence in many sports but competitive sports require the support of organizations through sponsorships and promotion. Earlier Pakistani squash players were the best in the world and we hope to bring back the laurel soon.  It is expected that with the generous and regular support of our worthy sponsors including Serena Hotels & Combaxx Sports, PSF would attain multiple gains from this mega squash activity.  This would project soft and safe image of Pakistan to lure international bodies to increase Pakistan’s due share of international tournaments.He said that we would expect media to play their role for the projection of PSF initiatives for the promotion of squash in the country.
