پاکستانی ٹیم آسٹریلیا کےخلاف اپناپہلا ون ڈے انٹرنیشنل میچ آج میلبورن میں کھیلے گی پاکستان اور آسٹریلیا نے پہلے ون ڈے انٹرنیشنل کے لیے اپنی ٹیموں کا اعلان کردیاہے پاکستانی ٹیم میں محمد رضوان (کپتان)، سلمان علی آغا (نائب کپتان)، عبداللہ شفیق، صائم ایوب، بابراعظم، کامران غلام، محمد عرفان خان، شاہین آفریدی، نسیم شاہ، حارث رؤف، محمد حسنین جب کہ ٹیم آسٹریلیا میں پیٹ کمنز (کپتان)، جیک فریزر میک گورک، میتھیو شارٹ، اسٹیو اسمتھ، جوش انگلیس، مارنس لیبوشین، آرون ہارڈی، گلین میکس ویل، شان ایبٹ، مچل اسٹارک، ایڈم زمپاشامل ہیں,پاکستانی ٹیم میں بابراعظم اور شاہین شاہ آفریدی کے علاوہ محمد حسنین کی بھی واپسی ہوئی ہے جنہوں نے آخری بار جنوری 2023 میں نیوزی لینڈ کے خلاف ون ڈے میچ کھیلا تھا۔
خیال رہے کہ پاکستان اور آسٹریلیا کے درمیان پہلا ون ڈے انٹرنیشنل 4 نومبر ، دوسرا ون ڈے میچ 8 اور تیسرا ون ڈے میچ10 نومبر کو کھیلا جائے گاجب کہ پاکستان اور آسٹریلیا کی ٹیموں کے درمیان 14 سے 18 نومبر تک ٹی20 انٹرنیشنل میچز بھی کھیلے جائیں گے۔ دورہ آسٹریلیا کے بعد پاکستانی ٹیم زمبابوے جائے گی جہاں پر 24 سے 28 نومبر تک دونوں ٹیموں کے درمیان 3 ون ڈے انٹرنیشنل میچز شیڈول ہیں جس کے بعد یکم دسمبر سے 5 دسمبر تک 3 ٹی20 میچز کھیلے جائیں گے۔ پاکستان نے آسٹریلین سرزمین پر اب تک 56 ون ڈے میچز کھیلے ہیں جن میں 17 میچ جیتے ہیں جبکہ 37 میں شکست ہوئی ہےپاکستان نے گزشتہ 19 سال میں صرف دو میچ جیتے ہیں,پاکستان نے اب تک دو سیریز آسٹریلیا میں جیتی ہیں۔ 1996ء میں وسیم اکرم کی قیادت میں پاکستان نے فتح حاصل کی تھی جبکہ 2002ء میں وقار یونس کی کپتانی میں پاکستان تین میں سے دو میچ جیت کر سیریز جیت لی تھی۔
پاکستان ٹیم کا دورہِ آسٹریلیا ہمیشہ مشکل رہا ہے,لیکن حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ون ڈے سیریز کے لیے پاکستانی ٹیم مضبوط نہیں کیونکہ ماضی کی نسبت پاکستانی کھلاڑیوں کے پاس آسٹریلین باؤنسی پچز ںپرکھیلنے کا کوئی تجربہ نہیں ہے۔
آسٹریلیا میں تیز اور باؤنسی وکٹوں پر بیٹنگ کرناپاکستان ٹیم کیلئےمشکل ہوتا ہے آسٹریلیا اپنے ہوم گراؤنڈ کا ہمیشہ فائدہ اٹھاتا ہے پاکستان کے دورے میں ہمیشہ تیز وکٹ بنائی جاتی ہیں جن پر اکثر پاکستان بیٹنگ لائن ناکام ہوجاتی ہے۔
پاکستان نے آخری دفعہ2017ء میں ون ڈے سیریز کھیلی تھی جب پاکستان نے محمد حفیظ کی قیادت میں میلبورن میں فتح حاصل کی تھی اس میچ میں پاکستانی باؤلرز محمد عامر، حسن علی اور عماد وسیم نے عمدہ باؤلنگ سے آسٹریلیا کو کم اسکور پر آؤٹ کیا تھا لیکن بہت سے ایسے میچز بھی ہیں جب پاکستانی بلے بازوں نے شاندار کارکردگی دکھائی اور میچ کو جیت کے بہت قریب لے گئے آسٹریلیا میں چار فتوحات باؤلرز کے دم پر ملی ہیں۔پاکستان ٹیم کی زیادہ تر فتوحات 90 کی دہائی کی ہیں ,

انہی مسائل کی وجہ سے آسٹریلین ٹور سے پہلے دنیا کے مشہور کرکٹ کوچ گیری کرسٹن نے پاکستانی ٹیم کی کوچنگ سے استعفیٰ دے دیا گیری کرسٹن ٹیم سیلیکشن پر ناراض تھے۔ وہ چند کھلاڑیوں کو ٹیم میں دیکھنا چاہتے تھے اور کپتانی کے لیے بھی کسی اور کو بہتر سمجھتے تھے۔ انہیں بورڈ افسران کے رویہ پر بھی اعتراض تھا۔
