England clinched the ICRC disabled T20 Cricket Title at Dhaka beat Pakistan in final

Dhaka.:  England  Disability  Cricket Team beat Pakistan  Disabled  team 19 runs  to Lift the Five  Nation ICRC International T20  Cricket Tournament  title  here on other day at BKSP Ground.3 Dhaka. Earlier England Captain I Nair n won the toss and  chose To bat first England set up a big target of 175- 4  in their  20 over. Callum Flyyn scord 45* in 29 balls with eight fours Gordon Laidlaw 40 in 31balls with six fours and Alex Hammond made 30 in 28 balls jhanzaib taiwana ,fayyaz Ahmed and Abdullah Ejaz took one wicket each.Pakistan, who were led by ex- Pakistan Armi Major  Hasnain Alam, manage the 156 for eight in allotted 20 over.Rehan ghani was the top scorer with 36 in 25 balls with one four and a six captain hasnain Alam scored 26 in 14 balls with five fours and Nihar Alam contributed 26 runs in 25 balls with one four.Slow left armed grabbed four wickets for only 24 runs, Dan Hamm and Dan Raynaldo took one wicket each.England captain Ian Narin received the winners’ trophy while Pakistan captain Hasnain Alam received from the  chief guest  Sport Minister Mr. Arif Khan Joy.and  ICC Game development officer for the Asia Region and former Bangladesh skipper. Amin ul Islam Bulbul. C. Flyyn (England) was declared man of the match.and man of the tournament Fayyaz Ahmed (Pakistan) was the best bowler of the tournament.award. MsChristine cipolla/head of delegation ICRC Bangladesh,Brig.Gen.Ali Mortaza khana /director Genral BKSP were also present on the occasion.

ICC Game development officer for the Asia Region and former Bangladesh skipper Mr. Amin ul Islam Bulbul, said in his speech that he is very much impressed to see the standard of cricket displayed by disabled cricketers in the final, he added that this ICC is looking forward to organize a cricket world cup for disabled in near future. He congratulated the efforts of ICRC, media and participating teams for making this mega event a success.

Sport Minister Mr. Arif Khan Joy appreciated all the teams for participating in the disability cricket tournament. He said that though England won the final today but Pakistan played really well. It is all about playing with good spirit and cricket has won today. He appreciated the role of ICRC in organizing this tournament and said that ministry of sports will always support disability cricket. By watching the standard of play, he said that it is not very far that we will see the world cup of disability cricket.
