Michael Atherton walked into a post-match press conference during the 1996 Cricket World Cup after his team had just lost to South Africa by 78 runs at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
He had been dismissed for a duck after facing only four balls.
The match itself had been poor with batsmen struggling to make big runs on either side. Graham Thorpe had top-scored with 46in the game.
