8th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto observed By.Asghar Ali Mubarak Rawalpindi—-The eighth death anniversary of former prime minster and Pakistan People’s Party head Benazir Bhutto was observed on Sunday at the Liaquat Bagh of Rawalpindi.The party has arranged Quran Khwani and Fateha in Rawalpindi, while the main event was held at Bhutto’s hometown Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. The day was start with Quran Khwani followed by langar or free food. The main jalsa was arranged at the Liaquat Bagh of Rawalpindi by the party supporters and leaders Aamir Fida Peracha, Raja IsrarAhmed, Raja Imran Ashraf and others. The party workers observe two-minute silence at 5:20pm to pay homage to the martyred leader, followed by Fateha at 5:25pm. Benazir Bhutto was assassinated on December 27, 2007 immediately after addressing a public meeting at the Liaquat Bagh of Rawalpindi.
