The Prime Minister tried to save the people from hardships by providing relief of billions of rupees in a month, and provided relief to the people in the worst economic situation. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stopped Pakistan Railways from increasing fares, while on the other hand, the Minister of Communications has suspended the quarterly increase in toll fees.
The government has already provided substantial relief to the consumers, and fuel prices have been kept stable through a subsidy of about Rs 129 billion. This relief was made possible by reducing the development budget and saving on other expenses, which shows that the government is determined to protect the people from external shocks.
Despite the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the growing global fuel crisis, the government, on the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has announced the following important measures to provide relief to the people:
Free Public Transport:
All government public transport in Islamabad has been made completely free for the next 30 days. This measure is starting from April 4, 2026, and its expenses will be borne by the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
Relief in Punjab:
A similar facility has been provided in all major cities of Punjab, where public transport will remain free for one month.
Prices of Petroleum Products:
Despite the increase in global oil prices, the Prime Minister has decided not to put an additional burden on the people and has directed that the money generated from the savings measures be used for public relief.
Targeted Petrol Subsidy:
Work is underway rapidly on a scheme to provide petrol at a reduced price for motorcycle and rickshaw owners, under which 20 to 30 liters of cheap petrol will be provided monthly through digital vouchers.
Austerity campaign:
The government has taken strict steps at the government level to save petroleum products, including a 50% cut in fuel for government vehicles and the grounding of unnecessary government vehicles.
It should be remembered that the government’s top priority in this difficult time is to protect the weak and middle class from the effects of the global crisis.
The Prime Minister formed a committee in difficult times that took timely decisions, which did not allow fuel supply to be disrupted. Fuel prices have been kept stable through a subsidy of about Rs 129 billion. The government will bear the additional burden of Rs 6 billion by June 30.
The government has made every effort to protect the public. The government has increased the price under forced agreements and promises. The government has increased the price of petrol by Rs 137.24 and diesel by Rs 184.49 per liter due to the Middle East crisis. The price of diesel in the global market has exceeded $ 250 per barrel.
The government has not allowed austerity and cost-cutting to burden the people. Oil supply comes mainly from the Strait of Hormuz. Energy emergencies have also been imposed in countries that have strategic reserves.
Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi says that the Prime Minister has won the hearts of passengers in difficult times. This is a gift for the people. Railway travel will remain within the reach of everyone. Railway officials say that the fares of all passenger and freight trains will not be increased. Economy and AC classes will be available in passenger trains, while there will be no increase in the fares of freight trains. It should be remembered that, on the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the quarterly increase in toll fees has been suspended. According to Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, orders have been issued to NHA to withdraw the notification on the instructions of the Prime Minister. He added that in the current situation, no further burden can be put on the citizens because they are already facing difficulties due to the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced to make public transport running in all cities free. After the announcement, passengers of the Orange Line train, Metro Bus Service, and Speedo Bus will no longer have to buy tickets. Citizens will not have to buy tickets while traveling in the Green Electro Bus either. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also announced a subsidy of Rs 100 per liter of diesel per acre to farmers. The Punjab Chief Minister said that the people will not be left alone in difficult circumstances. In unusual circumstances, citizens should use public transport instead of personal vehicles. The world is suffering from a global economic crisis as a result of the war. As the situation improves, the people will be relieved of the economic burden. On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also announced on social media that public transport in Islamabad has been made free for one month. The Interior Minister said that, on the instructions of the Prime Minister, all public transport in Islamabad has been made free, and the Ministry of Interior will bear the burden of Rs 350 million for free transport. Moreover, the Sindh Chief Minister has announced to give Rs 2,000 every month to motorcycle riders as a subsidy. Murad Ali Shah said that some important decisions were taken in the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The situation in the region is very tense. The Prime Minister and the Field Marshal are making every effort to end the war. Considering the current situation, we have taken several steps under which targeted subsidies should be given. It was decided that subsidies should be given to motorcyclists. There are 6.6 million registered motorcycles in Sindh. Every motorcyclist will be given Rs 2,000 every month from April. They will get Rs 100 for each liter based on 20 liters. By entering their identity card number in the app, the motorcycle number will be available. After 15 days, the money will be transferred to the motorcyclists. However, the money will be given to verified motorcyclists. There will be no increase in lower-class railway fares. In the first phase, this subsidy will be given only in the month of April. Moreover, a historic increase in the prices of petroleum products was recorded on Thursday, which is causing severe anxiety among the public. The sharp increase in petroleum prices indicates a very critical turning point in the country’s ongoing economic downturn. The government announced a huge increase in petrol prices of 43 percent, after which the new price of petrol was set at Rs 458.40 per liter, while diesel prices were increased by 55 percent, which is now Rs 520.35 per liter. The sharp increase in prices was made in view of the rising oil prices in the global market due to the Iran war, which has shaken the country’s already stressed economy. In addition, the federal government will also give Rs 100,000 to passenger buses. It should be remembered that inflation has increased due to the increase in the prices of petroleum products. According to the document, all types of transport in the country have become expensive by 12.14 percent in one month, mechanical services of vehicles have become expensive by 1.29 percent per month, and 8.92 percent per year. It has been reported that oil marketing companies recorded a significant increase in the sale of petroleum products during March. According to sources, overall oil sales increased by about 13 percent; this increase was especially seen during the Eid holidays and weekly holidays. In addition, due to the decrease in hydroelectric power generation, power plants also increased the purchase of furnace oil, which increased the overall demand. According to sources, the sale of petrol in March increased by 8 percent compared to February to reach 670,000 tons, while in February this sale was 620,000 tons. Similarly, the sale of diesel also recorded a 13 percent increase. The sale of diesel in March was 590,000 tons, which was 520,000 tons in February. On the other hand, an extraordinary increase was seen in the sale of furnace oil; the sale of furnace oil in March reached 90,000 tons, while in February it was only 40,000 tons. After postal services became 2.15 percent more expensive in a month due to rising petroleum prices, the cost of postal services has increased by 14.98 percent annually. Educational expenses in the country increased by another 1.29 percent in a month, educational expenses have increased by 8.85 percent on an annual basis, while accommodation and food facilities have become 2.92 percent more expensive in a month, and the prices of washing soap and detergent have increased by another 0.57 percent. In March, wedding hall owners also increased prices by 0.61 percent, domestic workers increased their prices by 0.53 percent during the month, all types of health facilities in the country also became expensive during the month, the price of medicines has been recorded as increasing by 0.17 percent per month and 6.49 percent annually. The official document states that in one month, doctors increased clinic fees by 0.93 percent, dental services by 0.81 percent in March, medical tests by another 0.17 percent, hospitals by 0.18 percent in a month, and by 5.07 percent in a year. According to the document, the prices of household goods have increased by 0.84 percent in March, plastic goods have become expensive by 0.92 percent during the month, while stationery, vehicle parts, furniture, carpets, and restaurants have also become expensive. The federal government increased the price of petrol yesterday. 137 rupees 24 paise, and the price of diesel was increased by 184 rupees 49 paise. Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervez Malik and the Minister for Finance, while holding a joint press conference, announced that the price of petrol has been increased by 137 rupees 24 paise per liter, after which the new price of petrol has been increased to 458 rupees 41 paise per liter. The price of diesel has been increased by 184 rupees 49 paise per liter, after which the new price of diesel has been fixed at 520 rupees 35 paise. A notification has been issued to increase the prices of petroleum products. The levy on petrol has been increased by 55 rupees 24 paise per liter, after which the levy on petrol has been reduced to 160 rupees 61 paise per liter. The levy on diesel has been reduced to zero. The levy on diesel was fixed at Rs 55.24. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said that the decision was taken in consultation with the country’s leadership, and targeted subsidies are being announced so that they reach the real beneficiaries. A subsidy of Rs 100 per liter will be given to motorcycles on 20 liters of petrol every month. Intercity public transport should also be given a subsidy of Rs 100 per liter on diesel. Trucks and goods transport will be given a monthly subsidy of Rs 70,000 on fuel, and the government will provide subsidies for railways so that fares can be managed. Petroleum Minister Ali Pervez Malik said that the President has guided us in the current economic situation. We thank him; the situation in the region has made the economy of the whole world difficult.The government’s decision should be seen from the perspective that we had no role in creating this storm; we should make every effort to extinguish this fire as soon as possible. The matter has been getting worse for a few weeks, and the price of crude oil in the global market has increased to a record high. It was decided to move away from the blanket subsidy and only target the weaker sections. A big meeting was held today in which the Prime Minister and the ministers were present. It was decided that perhaps the people cannot be protected through a blanket subsidy due to the increase in global prices. Similarly, due to the ongoing war in the Middle East, crude oil prices could not decrease in the global market. American crude oil WTI increased by 12% to $112 per barrel. In addition, Brent crude oil increased by 8% and was seen trading at $109. On the other hand, there was a mixed trend in the Asian stock markets. The Hundred Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange decreased by 1612 points to close at 150,398 points. The Hong Kong Hang Seng Index fell by 0.7 percent, while the Shanghai Composite Index fell by one percent. In contrast, Japan’s Nikkei Index rose by 1.26 percent and the Korean Kospi by more than 2.5 percent, while the Indian stock market also remained positive. In addition, the increase in transport fares has severely affected daily commuters. Passengers say that inflation has already made life difficult; the rulers should think about what facilities they are providing to the people. In social media posts, users are announcing the return of bicycles, while in some places, horse-drawn carriages are being described as the “new luxury transport”.
(اصغر علی مبارک)مشرق وسطیٰ کے بحران کے باوجود حکومت نے اضافی بوجھ اٹھایا ہے۔ وزیراعظم نے ایک ماہ میں اربوں روپے کا ریلیف دے کر عوام کو مشکلات سے بچانے کی کوشش کی،اور بدترین معاشی صورتحال میں عوام کو ریلیف دیا۔وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے پاکستان ریلویز کو کرایوں میں اضافے سے روک دیا جبکہ دوسری طرف وزیر مواصلات نے ٹول فیس میں ہونے والا سہ ماہی اضافہ معطل کر دیاہے۔
حکومت پہلے ہی صارفین کو خاطر خواہ ریلیف فراہم کر چکی ہے، تقریباً 129 ارب روپے سبسڈی کے ذریعے ایندھن کی قیمتیں مستحکم رکھی گئی ہیں, یہ ریلیف ترقیاتی بجٹ میں کمی اور دیگر اخراجات میں بچت کے ذریعے ممکن بنایا گیا، جو ظاہر کرتا ہے کہ حکومت عوام کو بیرونی جھٹکوں سے محفوظ رکھنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔
مشرقِ وسطیٰ میں جاری کشیدگی اور عالمی سطح پر ایندھن کے بڑھتے ہوئے بحران کے باوجود، وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کی ہدایت پر حکومت نے عوام کو ریلیف فراہم کرنے کے لیے درج ذیل اہم اقدامات کا اعلان کیا ہے:
مفت پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ:
اسلام آباد میں تمام سرکاری پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کو اگلے 30 دنوں کے لیے بالکل مفت کر دیا گیا ہے۔ اس اقدام کا آغاز 4 اپریل 2026 سے ہو رہا ہے اور اس کے اخراجات وفاقی وزارتِ داخلہ برداشت کرے گی۔
پنجاب میں ریلیف:
اسی طرح کی سہولت پنجاب کے تمام بڑے شہروں میں بھی فراہم کی گئی ہے جہاں پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ ایک ماہ کے لیے مفت رہے گی۔
پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتیں:
عالمی سطح پر تیل کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کے باوجود، وزیرِ اعظم نے عوام پر اضافی بوجھ نہ ڈالنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے اور بچت کے اقدامات سے حاصل شدہ رقم کو عوامی ریلیف کے لیے استعمال کرنے کی ہدایت دی ہے۔
ٹارگٹڈ پٹرول سبسڈی:
موٹر سائیکل اور رکشہ مالکان کے لیے کم قیمت پر پٹرول فراہم کرنے کی اسکیم (Discounted Petrol Scheme) پر تیزی سے کام جاری ہے، جس کے تحت ڈیجیٹل واؤچرز کے ذریعے ماہانہ 20 سے 30 لیٹر سستا پٹرول دیا جائے گا۔
کفایت شعاری مہم:
حکومت نے پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی بچت کے لیے سرکاری سطح پر سخت اقدامات کیے ہیں جن میں سرکاری گاڑیوں کے ایندھن میں 50 فیصد کٹوتی اور غیر ضروری سرکاری گاڑیوں کو گراؤنڈ کرنا شامل ہے۔
یاد رہے کہ اس مشکل گھڑی میں حکومت کی اولین ترجیح کمزور اور متوسط طبقے کو عالمی بحران کے اثرات سے محفوظ رکھنا ہے۔
وزیراعظم نے مشکل وقت میں کمیٹی بنائی جس نے بروقت فیصلے کیے ، بروقت فیصلوں سے ایندھن کی فراہمی میں خلل نہیں آنے دیا گیا تقریباً 129 ارب روپے سبسڈی کے ذریعے ایندھن کی قیمتیں مستحکم رکھی گئی ہیں۔ حکومت 30 جون تک 6 ارب روپے کا اضافی بوجھ خود برداشت کرے گی۔
حکومت نے بھرپور کوشش کی ہے کہ عوام کو تحفظ دیا جاسکے حکومت مجبوراً معاہدوں اور وعدوں کے تحت قیمت میں اضافہ کیاہے۔ حکومت نے مشرق وسطیٰ کے بحران کے با عث پیٹرول137 روپے 24 پیسے اور ڈیزل 184 روپے 49 پیسے فی لیٹر مہنگا کیاہے, ڈیزل کی عالمی منڈی میں قیمت 250 ڈالر فی بیرل سے بھی بڑھ چکی ہے ،
حکومت نے کفایت شعاری اور اخراجات میں کٹوتی عوام پر بوجھ نہیں پڑنے دیا، تیل کی سپلائی بنیادی طور پر آبنائے ہرمز سے آتی ہے ، جن ممالک کے پاس اسٹر یٹیجک ذخائر موجود ہیں وہاں بھی توانائی ایمرجنسی نافذ کی گئی ہے۔
وزیر ریلوے حنیف عباسی کاکہنا ہے کہ وزیراعظم نے مشکل وقت میں مسافروں کے دل جیت لیے یہ عوام کیلئے تحفہ ہے ، ریلوے کا سفر ہر شخص کی پہنچ میں رہے گا ۔ریلوے حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ تمام مسافر اور مال بردار ٹرینوں کے کرایوں میں اضافہ نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ مسافر ٹرینوں میں اکانومی اور اے سی کلاسز جبکہ فریٹ ٹرینوں کے کرایوں میں بھی کوئی اضافہ نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
یاد رہے کہ وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کی ہدایات پر ٹول فیس میں ہونے والا سہ ماہی اضافہ معطل کر دیاہے۔ وفاقی وزیر مواصلات عبدالعلیم خان کے مطابق وزیراعظم کی ہدایات پر این ایچ اے کو نوٹیفکیشن واپس لینے کے احکامات جاری کردیے گئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ موجودہ صورت حال میں شہریوں پر مزید بوجھ نہیں ڈالا جا سکتا کیونکہ پیٹرول و ڈیزل کی قیمتوں میں اضافے سے پہلے ہی مشکلات کا سامنا ہے۔
دوسری جانب وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے تمام شہروں میں چلنے والی پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ فری کرنے کا اعلان کر دیاہے۔ اعلان کے بعد اب اورنج لائن ٹرین، میٹرو بس سروس، اسپیڈو بس کے مسافروں کو ٹکٹ خریدنا نہیں پڑے گا۔گرین الیکٹرو بس میں بھی سفر کے دوران شہریوں کو ٹکٹ نہیں خریدنا پڑے گا۔وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے کاشتکاروں کو فی ایکڑ ایک لیٹر ڈیزل پر 100 روپے سبسڈی دینے کا اعلان بھی کیا ہے۔وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کا کہنا تھا مشکل حالات میں عوام کو تنہا نہیں چھوڑیں گے، غیرمعمولی حالات میں شہری ذاتی سواری کے بجائے پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ استعمال کریں,جنگ کے نتیجے میں دنیا عالمی معاشی بحران کا شکار ہے، حالات کی بہتری کے ساتھ ہی عوام کو معاشی بوجھ سے نجات دلائیں گے۔دوسری جانب وفاقی وزیر داخلہ محسن نقوی نے بھی سوشل میڈیا پر اعلان کیا کہ اسلام آباد میں پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ ایک ماہ کے لیے مفت کر دی گئی ہے۔وزیر داخلہ کا کہنا تھا وزیر اعظم کی ہدایت پر اسلام آباد میں تمام پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ فری کر دی ہے، وزارت داخلہ مفت ٹرانسپورٹ کا 35 کروڑ روپے کا بوجھ برداشت کرے گی۔ مزید یہ کہ وزیراعلیٰ سندھ نے موٹرسائیکل سواروں کو سبسڈی کے تحت ہرماہ 2 ہزار روپے دینے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ مراد علی شاہ نے بتایا کہ وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کی زیر صدارت اجلاس میں کچھ اہم فیصلے ہوئے، خطے کی صورتحال بہت کشیدہ ہے، وزیراعظم اور فیلڈ مارشل جنگ ختم کرنے کی بھرپور کوشش کررہے ہیں، موجودہ حالات دیکھتے ہوئے ہم نے کئی اقدامات کیے جس کے تحت ٹارگٹڈ سبسڈی دینا ہوگی۔ فیصلہ کیا کہ موٹرسائیکل سواروں کو سبسڈی دی جائے، سندھ میں 66 لاکھ موٹر سائیکلیں رجسٹرڈ ہیں، ہر موٹرسائیکل والے کو اپریل سے ہرماہ 2ہزار دیے جائیں گے، 20 لیٹر کےحساب سے ہر ایک لیٹر پر 100 روپے ملیں گے۔ ایپ میں اپنا شناختی کارڈ نمبر ڈالنے سےموٹرسائیکل کانمبر آجائےگا، 15دن بعد رقم موٹر سائیکل والوں کو منتقل کی جائے گی تاہم رقوم تصدیق شدہ موٹرسائیکل والوں کو دی جائے گی لوئر کلاس کے ریلوے کرایوں میں اضافہ نہیں ہوگا، پہلے مرحلے میں صرف اپریل کے مہینے میں یہ سبسڈی دی جائے گی مزید برآں, پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں جمعرات کو تاریخی اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا گیا جس سے عوامی حلقوں میں شدید بے چینی پائی جارہی ہے۔ پٹرولیم قیمتوں میں ہوشربا اضافہ ملک کی جاری معاشی ابتری میں ایک انتہائی نازک موڑ کی نشاندہی کرتا ہے۔ حکومت نے پٹرول کی قیمتوں میں 43 فیصد کے بھاری اضافے کا اعلان کیا جس کے بعد پٹرول کی نئی قیمت 458.40 روپے فی لٹر مقرر کردی گئی جب کہ ڈیزل کی قیمتوں میں 55 فیصد کا ہوشرُبا اضافہ کیا گیا جو اب 520.35 روپے فی لٹر ہوگئی ہے۔ قیمتوں میں ہوشربا اضافہ ایران جنگ کے باعث عالمی منڈی میں تیل کی بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتوں کے پیشِ نظر کیا گیا جس نے ملک کی پہلے سے دباؤ کا شکار معیشت میں ہلچل مچادی ہے مزید برآں مسافر بسوں کو وفاقی حکومت بھی ایک لاکھ روپے دے گی یاد رہے کہ پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کے باعث مہنگائی میں اضافہ ہوگیاہے۔دستاویز کے مطابق ایک ماہ میں ملک میں ہرقسم کی ٹرانسپورٹ 12.14 فیصد تک مہنگی ہوگئی، گاڑیوں کی مکینیکل سروسز ماہانہ 1.29 فیصد اور سالانہ 8.92 فیصد مہنگی ہوگئیں۔ بتایا گیا ہے کہ آئل مارکیٹنگ کمپنیز نے مارچ کے دوران پٹرولیم مصنوعات کی فروخت میں نمایاں اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا۔ذرائع کے مطابق مجموعی طور پر تیل کی فروخت میں تقریباً 13 فیصد اضافہ ہوا، یہ اضافہ خاص طور پر عید کی تعطیلات اور ہفتہ وار چھٹیوں کے دوران دیکھنے میں آیا،اس کے علاوہ پن بجلی کی پیداوار میں کمی کے سبب بجلی گھروں نے بھی فرنس آئل کی خریداری بڑھا دی، جس سے مجموعی طلب میں اضافہ ہوا۔ ذرائع کے مطابق مارچ میں پٹرول کی فروخت فروری کے مقابلے میں 8 فیصد بڑھ کر 6 لاکھ 70 ہزار ٹن تک پہنچ گئی، جبکہ فروری میں یہ فروخت 6 لاکھ 20 ہزار ٹن تھی۔اسی طرح ڈیزل کی فروخت میں بھی 13 فیصد اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا گیا، مارچ میں ڈیزل کی فروخت 5 لاکھ 90 ہزار ٹن رہی، جو فروری میں 5 لاکھ 20 ہزار ٹن تھی۔دوسری جانب فرنس آئل کی فروخت میں غیر معمولی اضافہ دیکھا گیا، مارچ میں فرنس آئل کی فروخت 90 ہزار ٹن تک پہنچ گئی، جبکہ فروری میں یہ صرف 40 ہزار ٹن تھی۔ پیٹرولیم قیمتیں بڑھنے سے ایک ماہ میں پوسٹل سروسز 2.15 فیصد مہنگی ہونے کے بعد پوسٹل سہولیات کے دام میں سالانہ 14.98 فیصد اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا گیا ہے۔ملک میں ایک ماہ میں تعلیمی اخراجات مزید 1.29 فیصد تک بڑھ گئے، تعلیمی اخراجات میں سالانہ بنیادوں پر 8.85 فیصد اضافہ ہوا ہے جبک ہ ایک ماہ کے دوران قیام و طعام کی سہولیات 2.92 فیصد تک مہنگی ہوگئیں، واشنگ سوپ اور ڈیٹرجنٹ کی قیمتوں میں مزید 0.57 فیصد اضافہ ہوا ہے۔ مارچ میں شادی ہالز مالکان نے بھی دام 0.61 فیصد تک بڑھا دیے، ایک ماہ کے دوران گھریلو ملازمین نے اپنے دام 0.53 فیصد تک بڑھا دیے، ایک ماہ کے دوران ملک میں ہر قسم کی صحت سہولیات بھی مہنگی ہوگئی، ادویات کی قیمت میں ماہانہ 0.17 اور سالانہ 6.49 فیصد اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا گیا ہے۔سرکاری دستاویز میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ ایک ماہ میں ڈاکٹرز نے کلینک فیسیں 0.93 فیصد تک بڑھا دیں، مارچ میں ڈینٹل سروسز 0.81 فیصد، میڈیکل ٹیسٹ مزید 0.17 فیصد مہنگے ہوگئے، ایک ماہ میں اسپتال 0.18 اور ایک سال میں 5.07 فیصد تک مہنگے ہوگئے۔دستاویز کے مطابق مارچ میں گھریلو سامان کی قیمتوں میں 0.84 فیصد تک اضافہ دیکھا گیا ہے، ایک ماہ کے دوران پلاسٹک سامان 0.92 فیصد تک مہنگا ہوگیا جب کہ اسٹیشنری،گاڑیوں کے پرزہ جات،فرنیچر،کارپٹ اور ریسٹورنٹ بھی مہنگے ہوگئے۔گزشتہ روز وفاقی حکومت نے پیٹرول کی قیمت میں 137 روپے 24 پیسے اور اور ڈیزل کی قیمت میں 184 روپے 49 پیسے کا اضافہ کیا تھا۔وزیرپیٹرولیم علی پرویز ملک اور وزیر خزانہ نے مشترکہ پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے اعلان کیا کہ پیٹرول کی قیمت میں 137 روپے 24 پیسے فی لیٹر اضافہ کیا گیا ہے جس کے بعد پیٹرول کی نئی قیمت 458 روپے 41 پیسے فی لیٹر کر دی گئی۔ ڈیزل کی قیمت میں184 روپے 49 پیسے فی لیٹر اضافہ کیا گیا ہے جس کے بعد ڈیزل کی نئی قیمت 520 روپے 35 پیسےمقرر کردی گئی۔ پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کا نوٹی فکیشن جاری کر دیا گیا ہے پیٹرول پر لیوی میں 55 روپے 24 پیسے فی لیٹر اضافہ کیا گیا جس کے بعد پیٹرول پر لیوی 160 روپے 61 پیسے فی لیٹر کر دی گئی۔ ڈیزل پر لیوی صفر کر دی گئی۔ ڈیزل پر لیوی 55 روپے 24 پیسے مقرر تھی۔وزیرخزانہ محمد اورنگزیب نے کہا کہ جو فیصلہ کیا گیا ملک کی قیادت کی مشاورت سے کیا گیا ، ٹارگٹڈ سبسڈی کا اعلان کررہے ہیں تاکہ یہ حقیقی حقدار تک پہنچے۔ ہر ماہ 20 لیٹر پیٹرول پر موٹرسائیکل کے لیے100 روپے فی لیٹر سبسڈی دی جائے گی۔ انٹرسٹی پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کو ڈیزل پر بھی فی لیٹر 100 روپے سبسڈی دی جائے ، ٹرک اور گڈز ٹرانسپورٹ کو فیول پر 70 ہزار روپے ماہانہ سبسڈی دی جائے گی ، ریلوے کے لیے حکومت سبسڈی دے گی تاکہ کرایوں کو منیج کیا جاسکے ۔ وزیرپیٹرولیم علی پرویز ملک نے کہا کہ صدر مملکت نے موجودہ معاشی صورتحال میں رہنمائی کی، شکریہ ادا کرتے ہیں خطے کی صورتحال نے پوری دنیا کی معیشت کو مشکل کر دیا ہے ۔حکومت کے فیصلے کو اس نظرسے دیکھا جائے کہ یہ طوفان برپا کرنے میں ہمارا کوئی کردار نہیں تھا، بھرپور کوشش کرنی چاہیے کہ جلد از جلد اس آگ کو بجھانے کی کوشش کریں۔ چند ہفتوں سے معاملہ بگڑتا چلا جارہا ہے، عالمی منڈی میں خام تیل کی قیمت میں ریکارڈ اضافہ ہوا۔ فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ بلینکٹ سسبڈی سے ہٹ کر صرف کمزور طبقات کا رخ کرے، آج ایک بڑی بیٹھک ہوئی جس میں وزیراعظم اور وزراعلیٰ موجود تھے ، فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ شاید عالمی قیمتوں میں اضافے سے عوام کو بیلنکٹ سسبڈی کے ذریعے تحفظ نہیں دیا جاسکتا۔اسی طرح مشرق وسطیٰ میں جاری جنگ کی وجہ سے عالمی منڈی میں خام تیل کی قیمتوں میں کمی نہ آسکی۔ امریکی خام تیل ڈبلیو ٹی آئی 12 فیصد اضافے سے 112 ڈالر فی بیرل ہوگیا۔اس کے علاوہ برینٹ خام تیل 8 فیصد بڑھ کر 109 ڈالر پر ٹریڈ ہوتا دکھائی دیا۔ دوسری جانب ایشیائی اسٹاک مارکیٹوں میں ملا جلا رجحان رہا۔ پاکستان اسٹاک ایکسچینج کا ہنڈریڈ انڈیکس 1612 پوائنٹس کم ہوکر ایک لاکھ 50 ہزار 398 پوائنٹس پر بند ہوا۔ ہانگ کانگ ہینگ سینگ انڈیکس میں صفر اعشاریہ 7 فیصد کمی آئی جبکہ شنگھائی انڈیکس ایک فیصد گرا۔ اس کے برعکس جاپان کے نکئی انڈیکس میں 1.26 فیصد اور کورین کاسپی میں ڈھائی فیصد سے زائد کا اضافہ ہوا جبکہ بھارتی اسٹاک مارکیٹ بھی مثبت رہی ۔اس کے علاوہ ٹرانسپورٹ کرایوں میں اضافے سے روزانہ سفرکرنے والےشہری شدید متاثر ہیں۔ مسافروں کا کہنا ہے کہ مہنگائی نے پہلے ہی جینا مشکل کر رکھا ہے ، حکمرانوں کو سوچنا چاہیے عوام کو کیا سہولت دے رہے ہیں ,سوشل میڈیا پوسٹس میں کہیں صارفین سائیکلوں کی واپسی کا اعلان کررہے ہیں ، تو کہیں گھوڑا گاڑی کو ’’نئی لگژری ٹرانسپورٹ‘‘ قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔
