Rawalpindi, April 10, 2024: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited Miran Shah and Aspin wam in North Waziristan Agency of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the Chief of Army Staff celebrated Eid with the soldiers.

Starting with the Eid prayer on the front line, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir prayed for lasting stability and prosperity of Pakistan.
According to a press release issued by ISPR, the Chief of Army Staff congratulated the soldiers on Eid-ul-Fitr and appreciated their unwavering dedication and service to the nation. General Syed Asim Munir then received a comprehensive briefing on operational preparations and the current security scenario, with a special briefing on border security measures along the Pak-Afghan border. And while acknowledging the formation’s monumental efforts in promoting stability, the Chief of Army Staff attributed these strides to the sacrifices of martyrs, especially in the newly merged districts and the entire Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for socio-economic development. Emphasizing the negative impact of terrorism on development, the Chief of Army Staff emphasized the collective need to protect the hard-earned peace.
He urged all stakeholders, especially the local population, to be vigilant against hostile elements trying to destabilize the region. The Chief of Army Staff said that he will remain unwaveringly focused on his professional duties in the service of the nation. Earlier, Corps Commander Peshawar warmly welcomed the arrival of the Army Chief.

فرنٹ لائن پر عید کی نماز سے آغاز کرتے ہوئےآرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے پاکستان کے پائیدار استحکام اور خوشحالی کے لیے دعائیں مانگیں ۔
آئی ایس پی آر کی جانب سے جاری پریس ریلیز کے مطابق چیف آف آرمی سٹاف نے فوجیوں کو عید الفطر کی دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے قوم کے لیے ان کی غیر متزلزل لگن اور خدمات کو سراہا۔ اس کے بعد جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے آپریشنل تیاریوں اور موجودہ سیکورٹی کے منظر نامے پر ایک جامع بریفنگ حاصل کی، جس میں پاک افغان سرحد کے ساتھ سرحدی حفاظتی اقدامات پر خصوصی بریفنگ دی گئی۔آئی ایس پی آرکے بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ امن اور استحکام کو فروغ دینے میں تشکیل کی یادگار کاوشوں کا اعتراف کرتے ہوئے، چیف آف آرمی سٹاف نے ان پیش قدمیوں شہداء کی قربانیوں سے منسوب کیا، خاص طور پر نئے ضم شدہ اضلاع اور پورے خیبر پختونخواہ میں جو کہ سماجی و اقتصادی ترقی کے لیے سازگار ماحول کی سہولت فراہم کرتے ہیں،
ترقی پر دہشت گردی کے منفی اثرات پر زور دیتے ہوئے، چیف آف آرمی سٹاف نے محنت سے حاصل کئے گئے امن کی حفاظت کے لیے اجتماعی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔
انہوں نے تمام اسٹیک ہولڈرز بالخصوص مقامی آبادی پر زور دیا کہ وہ خطے کو غیر مستحکم کرنے کی کوشش کرنے والے مخالف عناصر کے خلاف چوکس رہیں۔ چیف آف آرمی سٹاف نےکہا کہ قوم کی خدمت میں اپنے پیشہ ورانہ فرائض پر غیر متزلزل توجہ مرکوز رکھیں گے قبل ازیں آرمی چیف کی آمد پر کور کمانڈر پشاور نے پرتپاک استقبال کیا۔
یہ یاد رکھنا چاہیےکہ پرامن ماحول میں یہ تہوار ہمارے تمام شہدا اور غازیوں کے مرہون منت ہے۔
عسکری قیادت کی جانب سے آج کے دن قوم کے لئے دعا کی گئی ہے کہ اللّٰہ تعالی پاکستان پر اپنی رحمتوں کا سایہ برقرار رکھے۔
عسکری قیادت کی جانب سے قوم کو عید کی مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے شہدا اور غازیوں کو سلام بھی پیش کیا گیا ہے۔
