During his service, he not only ensured the observance of the law but also stood as an impregnable iron wall against criminal elements. Educational and professional background:
The honorary title of “Cadet” DSP Cadet Sardar Muhammad Farooq has been endowed with extraordinary abilities and leadership qualities from the very beginning. His great professional skills began when he secured the first position overall in the then Frontier Province (present-day Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) in 1998.
In recognition of this outstanding and extraordinary achievement, he was awarded the honorary title of “Cadet”.
This honor did not prove to be just a one-time reward, but later became a permanent recognition of his personality, name and courage.

Mansehra Bank Robbery:
A timeless story of bravery and courageA very bright and historic chapter in the professional life of DSP Cadet Sardar Muhammad Farooq is the incident of bank robbery in Mansehra on 23rd Ramadan, 30th August 2013. At that time, he was posted as SHO in Sadar Police Station, Mansehra. Armed with dangerous and modern weapons, the robbers were trying to escape from the bank by robbing crores of rupees, but Sardar Muhammad Farooq foiled this major incident with his unparalleled strategy and bravery. Instead of showing cowardice or ordering the police personnel from behind, he provided leadership from the front line. He displayed utmost courage and steadfastness in the fierce and terrifying police encounter with the robbers. During this encounter, he himself was shot and seriously injured, but regardless of his injuries, he kept the morale of his men high, arrested all the robbers on the spot and also safely recovered the huge amount of looted money. This incident became a clear proof of his bravery, independence and unwavering commitment to duty, which is still remembered with pride in the police department.
Current posting:
Cadet Sardar Muhammad Farooq, the guarantor of law and order in Mansehra, is currently performing his duties as DSP in Mansehra (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) very well.
An interesting and historical fact is that in the same district where he had written an immortal story of bravery with his courage in 2013, today he is serving the people as a guarantor of peace and justice in the same district.
Even during his current posting, due to his fearless policy, domineering style and supremacy of merit, he has become a symbol of fear for criminal elements and a shadow of protection for ordinary citizens.

DSP Cadet Sardar Muhammad Farooq is still serving the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department with the same passion, courage and integrity. He is a commander who has always held the sanctity of his uniform dearer than his life.

“کیڈٹ” کا اعزازی لقبDSP کیڈٹ سردار محمد فاروق شروع ہی سے غیر معمولی صلاحیتوں اور قائدانہ اوصاف کے حامل رہے ہیں۔ ان کی زبردست پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں کا آغاز اسی وقت ہو گیا تھا جب سن 1998 میں انہوں نے مجموعی طور پر اُس وقت کے صوبۂ سرحد (موجودہ خیبر پختونخوا) میں پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی۔
اس شاندار اور غیر معمولی کامیابی کے اعتراف میں انہیں “کیڈٹ” کے اعزازی لقب سے نوازا گیا۔
یہ اعزاز محض ایک وقتی انعام ثابت نہیں ہوا، بلکہ بعد ازاں ان کی شخصیت، نام اور دلیری کی مستقل پہچان بن گیا۔محکمانہ خدمات اور مختلف یونٹس میں تعیناتیاںاپنی طویل اور شاندار سروس کے دوران DSP کیڈٹ سردار محمد فاروق نے ہزارہ ڈویژن کے مختلف اہم تھانہ جات میں اپنی ذمہ داریاں نہایت احسن انداز میں انجام دیں۔ جہاں بھی ان کی تعیناتی ہوئی، وہاں امن و امان کی صورتحال میں واضح بہتری دیدهی گئی اور جرائم پیشہ عناصر کے خلاف مؤثر کارروائیاں عمل میں لائی گئیں۔
تھانہ جات کے علاوہ انہوں نے محکمۂ پولیس کے کئی اہم، حساس اور کلیدی یونٹس میں بھی اپنی خدمات سرانجام دی ہیں،

ان تمام مختلف اور مشکل شعبہ جات میں انہوں نے اپنی پیشہ ورانہ مہارت، معاملہ فہمی، جرأت اور غیر معمولی قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کا لوہا منوایا۔
مانسہرہ بینک ڈکیتی:
شجاعت اور دلیری کی لازوال داستانDSP کیڈٹ سردار محمد فاروق کی پیشہ ورانہ زندگی کا ایک نہایت درخشاں اور تاریخی باب 23 رمضان المبارک، 30 اگست 2013ء کو مانسہرہ میں ہونے والی بینک ڈکیتی کی واردات ہے۔ وہ اُس وقت تھانہ صدر مانسہرہ میں بطورِ ایس ایچ او (SHO) تعینات تھے۔ خطرناک اور جدید ہتھیاروں سے مسلح ڈاکو بینک سے کروڑوں روپے لوٹ کر فرار ہونے کی کوشش میں تھے، مگر سردار محمد فاروق نے اپنی بے مثال حکمتِ عملی اور جرأتِ رندانہ سے اس بڑی واردات کو ناکام بنا دیا۔انہوں نے بزدلی کا مظاہرہ کرنے یا پولیس نفری کو پیچھے سے حکم دینے کے بجائے، صفِ اوّل (Front Line) سے قیادت فراہم کی۔ ڈاکوؤں کے ساتھ ہونے والے شدید اور خوفناک پولیس مقابلے میں انہوں نے انتہائی دلیری اور ثابت قدمی کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ اس معرکے کے دوران وہ خود گولیوں کا نشانہ بنے اور شدید زخمی ہوئے، مگر زخموں کی پروا کیے بغیر اپنے جوانوں کے حوصلے بلند رکھے، تمام ڈاکوؤں کو موقع پر گرفتار کیا اور لوٹی گئی خطیر رقم بھی بحفاظت بازیاب کروائی۔ یہ واقعہ ان کی بہادری، استقلال اور فرض سے غیر متزلزل وابستگی کی روشن دلیل بن گیا، جسے آج بھی محکمۂ پولیس میں فخر کے ساتھ یاد کیا جاتا ہے۔
موجودہ تعیناتی:
مانسہرہ میں امن و امان کے ضامنڈی ایس پی کیڈٹ سردار محمد فاروق اس وقت مانسہرہ (خیبر پختونخوا) میں بطور ڈی ایس پی اپنے فرائضِ منصبی نہایت احسن طریقے سے سرانجام دے رہے ہیں۔
دل چسپ اور تاریخی حقیقت یہ ہے کہ جس مٹی (مانسہرہ) پر انہوں نے 2013 میں اپنی دلیری سے شجاعت کی لازوال داستان رقم کی تھی، آج وہ اسی ضلع میں امن و انصاف کے ضامن بن کر عوام کی خدمت کر رہے ہیں۔
اپنی موجودہ تعیناتی کے دوران بھی وہ اپنی نڈر پالیسی، دبنگ انداز اور میرٹ کی بالادستی کی وجہ سے جرائم پیشہ عناصر کے لیے خوف کی علامت اور عام شہریوں کے لیے تحفظ کا سایہ بنے ہوئے ہیں۔
اعزازات اور تمغے;
سردار محمد فاروق مصلحت پسندی سے پاک ایک دبنگ اور دلیر افسر ہیں۔ جرائم کے انسداد میں ان کی غیر معمولی کامیابیوں، بہترین حکمتِ عملی اور فرض شناسی کے اعتراف میں انہیں سروس کے دوران بے شمار محکمانہ اعزازات، تمغوں اور نقد انعامات سے نوازا جا چکا ہے۔
ان کا طرزِ عمل نہ صرف ماتحت عملے بلکہ نوجوان پولیس افسران کے لیے بھی ایک بہترین رول ماڈل ہے۔
DSP کیڈٹ سردار محمد فاروق آج بھی اسی جذبے، دلیری اور دیانت داری کے ساتھ محکمۂ پولیس خیبر پختونخوا میں اپنی خدمات پیش کر رہے ہیں۔ وہ ایک ایسے کمانڈر ہیں جنہوں نے ہمیشہ اپنی وردی کے تقدس کو جان سے بڑھ کر عزیز رکھا۔
خیبر پختونخوا پولیس کا یہ نڈر افسر آج بھی صوبے کے عوام کے لیے تحفظ، امن اور انصاف کی ایک مستند علامت بن کر اپنے فرائضِ منصبی پر مامور ہے۔
جہاں بھی DSP کیڈٹ سردار محمد فاروق کی تعیناتی عمل میں آتی ہے، وہاں جرائم پیشہ عناصر، منشیات فروش، نوسرباز اور سماج دشمن قوتیں خوف و ہراس میں مبتلا ہو جاتی ہیں۔ ان کی موجودگی جرائم کے خاتمے اور امن و امان کے قیام کی ضمانت تصور کی جاتی ہے۔

وہ کسی بھی مجرم کے اثر و رسوخ، سیاسی وابستگی یا مالی طاقت سے مرعوب نہیں ہوتے۔ ان کا اصول بالکل واضح ہے کہ قانون کی گرفت سے کوئی شخص بالاتر نہیں۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ بڑے سے بڑا مجرم بھی ان کے نام سے لرزتا ہے، کیونکہ DSP کیڈٹ سردار محمد فاروق مجرم کو زمین کے نیچے سے بھی تلاش کر نکالنے کی صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں۔
