■PUNJAB‘s JUNIOR GAMES WILL START FROM 14 NOVEMBER 2015 AT LAHORE, Faisalabad, Gujranawala, Multan and Sargodha
■To promote this event the Organizing Committee will embark a campaign bearing the name “REACH OUT”.

Islamabad: – The Punjab Junior Sports Association ( PJSA) affiliated with Punjab Olympics Association will hold Punjab’s Junior Games in five major cities of the Province of Punjab. Taking sizzling start from the Provincial Capital Lahore, Junior Games will also be staged in the cities of Faisalabad, Gujranawala, Multan and Sargodha with intervals. To encourage the young athletes on large scale, adjacent Districts of all major cities will be included by the involvement of District Junior Sports Associations affiliated with PJSA and District Governments in respective areas.
Under the Patronage of Punjab Olympics and dedicated President Ship of Mr. Asghar Ali Shirazi (PJSA) , Punjab Junior Sports Association along with its affiliated bodies is committed to promote sports activities in the Province by covering-up Government/Semi Government and Private sector creating an opportunity for the children to practice a unique cross culture experience in extreme competitive atmosphere .
Undertaking 15 (Fifteen) disciplines for both genders, Games are included Track & Field, Tennis, Badminton, Cycling, Swimming, Table Tennis, Soccer, Basket Ball, Hand ball, Hockey, Squash, Tug of war, Taekwondo, Karate and Rowing (by machine) .Hundred of children between ages 12 to 18 years will be in serious sports action besides to take part in Games Ceremonies and above all great fun.
Starting from the Media briefing, formal Opening Ceremony will take place while position holder athletes participating in 15 disciplines will be awarded prizes and certificates of distinction. However, to encourage the young athletes, Certificates of appreciation will be awarded to all participants. Crucial fight is expected to secure overall trophy award amongst the schools in both genders.
For the ease of the athletes and accompanied officials, all the sports disciplines will take place in Model Town area. The detail of venues will be communicated in due course of time.

Punjab Junior sports Association is committed to promote the sports at junior level and in this behalf, children of adjacent Districts of all five mentioned major cities will also be invited by the involvement of District Governments and affiliated District sports bodies affiliated with PJSA. Participation of Government/Semi Government and Private sectors ensures an interacting and learning experience for the athletes and accompanied team’s Officials.
Without the involvement of Sponsors, such kind of mega events cannot be practically realized thus, it is a moral duty of the potential companies to take interest to financially support the event in the interest of welfare of well deserving sports youth of the country through the medium of sports said by Mr. Hamid Niaz ,Secretary General PJSA. He further added that Famous Companies such as Nupur, Haleeb Foods, Hang Ten, Din Textiles, Jockey, Slazenger, Shandy Cola etc had been actively participated to sponsor such activities and I, hereby do expect that not only these companies but many others will take interest to support this forthcoming mega event in the interest to uplift the declining sports graph. Mr. Niaz also informed that Organizing committees are being formed to conduct the event with systematic and professional manner.
