پاکستان ہاکی کی شاندار واپسی: پہلے ٹیسٹ میچ میں جنوبی کوریا کو عبرتناک شکست، گرین شرٹس کا فاتحانہ آغاز

پاکستان میں تقریباً دو دہائیوں (20 سال) کے طویل انتظار کے بعد بین الاقوامی ہاکی کی بحالی کا تاریخی مشن کامیابی سے شروع ہو گیا ہے۔
اسلام آباد کے نصیر بندہ ہاکی اسٹیڈیم میں کھیلے گئے پہلے سنسنی خیز ٹیسٹ میچ میں پاکستان کی قومی ہاکی ٹیم نے شاندار کھیل کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے حریف جنوبی کوریا کو 3-1 سے دھول چٹا دی۔ اس شاندار فتح کے ساتھ ہی پاکستان نے 4 میچوں کی ہوم ٹیسٹ سیریز میں 1-0 کی نفسیاتی برتری حاصل کر لی ہے۔اس موقع پر مہمان خصوصی آئی پی سی سیکرٹری و پاکستان ہاکی فیڈریشن کے صدر محی الدین احمد وانی اور کورین ایمبسڈر پارک کی جون بھی موجود تھے۔ مزکورہ پاکستان میں منعقد میچ ایف آئی ایچ کے TMS میں پہلی بار تفصیلات شائع کی گئیں ۔
پہلا کوارٹر بغیر کسی گول کے برابر رہا۔ تاہم بعد ازاں قومی کھلاڑیوں نے جارحانہ انداز اپنایا اور میچ کے 21 ویں منٹ میں محمد سفیان خان نے پینلٹی کارنر کے ذریعے پہلا گول داغ کر پاکستان کو برتری دلائی۔ کوریا کی جانب سے ینگ جی ہان نے 29 ویں منٹ میں پینلٹی کارنر پر گول کر کے مقابلہ 1-1 سے برابر کر دیا۔
ہاف ٹائم سے ٹھیک قبل 30 ویں منٹ میں محمود ابو بکر نے خوبصورت گول کر کے پاکستان کی برتری 2-1 کر دی۔ تیسرے کوارٹر میں سفیان خان نے 38 ویں منٹ میں اپنا دوسرا اور ٹیم کا تیسرا گول کر کے پاکستان کی فتح یقینی بنا دی۔
اس اہم مقابلے کی ایمپائرنگ کے فرائض ہارون رشید اور یاسر خورشید نے انجام دیے، جبکہ ٹیکنیکل آفیسر کے فرائض محمد جاوید نے سنبھالے۔ میچ میں بطور ججزوقاص احمد اور مرزا جاوید ذمہ داریاں ادا کر رہے تھے۔ اس موقع پر ٹیکنیکل ڈیلیگیٹ شفیق بھٹی، ایمپائر منیجر فیض محمد فیضی ، میڈیا کوآرڈینیٹر محمد وقاص شیخ ، پی ایچ ایف کیمپ کوآرڈینیٹر لفٹننٹ کرنل ر عبدالناصر اخونزادہ، چیف کوآرڈینیٹر اینڈ آپریشن نجیب خٹک کے علاوہ دیگر آفیشلز بھی موجود تھے
میچ کے آغاز سے ہی دونوں ٹیموں کے درمیان سخت مقابلہ دیکھنے کو ملا، تاہم پاکستان کے فارورڈز نے جارحانہ حکمتِ عملی اپناتے ہوئے حریف ٹیم کے دفاع کو پاش پاش کر دیا: پاکستان کے مایہ ناز ڈریگ فلکر اور فارورڈ سفیان خان میچ کے ہیرو ثابت ہوئے۔ انہوں نے دوسرے کوارٹر میں پنالٹی کارنر پر اپنی بہترین فلک کے ذریعے پاکستان کو برتری دلائی اور پھر تیسرے کوارٹر کے 36 ویں منٹ میں ایک اور شاندار پنالٹی کارنر گول داغ کر اپنی برائیس (Brace) مکمل کی۔
پاکستان کے نو منتخب کپتان ابوبکر محمود نے قیادت کا حق ادا کرتے ہوئے فیلڈ گول کے ذریعے گیند کو جال کی راہ دکھائی اور حریف ٹیم کی واپسی کے تمام راستے بند کر دیے۔
میچ کے پہلے ہاف تک پاکستان کو 2-1 کی مضبوط برتری حاصل تھی۔ کوریا کے واحد گول اسکورر جی ہن یانگ (Ji Hun Yang) رہے، جنہوں نے پاکستانی دفاع میں معمولی خلا کا فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے گول اسکور کیا۔ تاہم، آخری کوارٹر میں پاکستانی فل بیکس اور گول کیپر نے فولادی دفاع کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے کوریائی اسٹرائیکرز کے تمام حملے ناکام بنا دیے اور فتح پر مہر ثبت کر دی۔

The historic mission of reviving international hockey in Pakistan after a long wait of almost two decades (20 years) has begun successfully.
In the first thrilling Test match played at the Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium in Islamabad, the Pakistan national hockey team put up a brilliant performance and defeated their rivals South Korea 3-1. With this magnificent victory, Pakistan has taken a 1-0 psychological lead in the 4-match home Test series. The special guest on the occasion was IPC Secretary and Pakistan Hockey Federation President Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani and Korean Ambassador Park Ki-jun. The details of the match held in Pakistan were published for the first time in the FIH TMS.
The first quarter remained goalless. However, the national players later adopted an aggressive approach and in the 21st minute of the match, Muhammad Sufyan Khan scored the first goal through a penalty corner to give Pakistan the lead. From Korea, Young Ji Han scored a goal from a penalty corner in the 29th minute to level the match at 1-1.
In the 30th minute, just before half-time, Mahmood Abu Bakr scored a beautiful goal to give Pakistan a 2-1 lead. In the third quarter, Sufyan Khan scored his second and the team’s third goal in the 38th minute to ensure Pakistan’s victory.
The umpiring duties of this important match were performed by Haroon Rashid and Yasir Khurshid, while Muhammad Javed took over the duties of the technical officer. Qas Ahmed and Mirza Javed were performing their duties as judges in the match. Technical Delegate Shafiq Bhatti, Umpire Manager Faiz Muhammad Faizi, Media Coordinator Muhammad Waqas Sheikh, PHF Camp Coordinator Lt. Col. R. Abdul Nasir Akhunzada, Chief Coordinator and Operations Najeeb Khattak and other officials were also present on the occasion.
The match witnessed a tough competition between the two teams right from the start, however, Pakistan’s forwards adopted an aggressive strategy and shattered the opposing team’s defense: Pakistan’s legendary drag flicker and forward Sufyan Khan proved to be the heroes of the match. They gave Pakistan the lead with their best flick on a penalty corner in the second quarter and then completed their brace by scoring another brilliant penalty corner goal in the 36th minute of the third quarter.
Pakistan’s newly elected captain Abu Bakr Mahmood showed the right to lead by scoring a field goal and blocked all avenues of comeback for the opposing team.
Pakistan had a strong 2-1 lead until the first half of the match. Ji Hun Yang was the only Korean goal scorer, who took advantage of a slight gap in the Pakistani defense to score a goal. However, in the last quarter, the Pakistani full-backs and goalkeeper showed steely defense, thwarting all the attacks of the Korean strikers and sealing the victory.
As per the prevailing schedule of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), the details of this important bilateral series, played in the context of preparations for the World Cup 2026, are as follows:
