The Green Shirts won all three sets of the match 25-13, 25-22 and 25-18, while their opponents have not dropped a single set in the tournament so far. After defeating Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and now Uzbekistan, Pakistan has become one of the strong candidates for the title, while it will face Kazakhstan in the final league match. The Green Shirts have defeated Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Uzbekistan so far in the tournament without losing a single set. The national team will play its last league match against Kazakhstan on July 27.
In the first match, Sri Lanka defeated Kazakhstan in straight sets to secure their second win in the event.
