RAWALPINDI – Pakistan and Kuwait have clearly reaffirmed their commitment to deepen institutional ties and expand long-term defense cooperation. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a high-level Kuwaiti delegation called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

According to the military’s media wing, the visiting delegation was led by Kuwaiti Defense Minister His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sulaiman Al-Sabah and was accompanied by Chief of General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces Lieutenant General Khalid Darj Saad Al-Sharyan.

According to the ISPR, matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral defense cooperation were discussed during the talks. The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhance institutional relations and expand mutually beneficial defense cooperation between the two brotherly countries. The Kuwaiti delegation appreciated the exceptional professionalism, operational expertise and valuable services of the Pakistan Armed Forces. The high-level contacts indicate the determination of Pakistan and Kuwait to further consolidate their historic, brotherly relations into a strong, sustainable and mutually beneficial defense partnership. The Kuwaiti leadership expressed its full appreciation for the Pakistan Armed Forces. The two countries concluded the meeting by reiterating their full commitment to transform the historic, brotherly relations into a sustainable, strong defense partnership capable of promoting peace throughout the region.

راولپنڈی – پاکستان اور کویت نے واضح طور پر ادارہ جاتی تعلقات کو گہرا کرنے اور طویل مدتی دفاعی تعاون کو وسعت دینے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے۔ پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق کویت کے اعلیٰ سطحی وفد نے جنرل ہیڈ کوارٹرز (جی ایچ کیو) میں چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف (سی او اے ایس) اور چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز (سی ڈی ایف) فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر سے ملاقات کی۔
فوج کے میڈیا ونگ کے مطابق دورہ کرنے والے وفد کی قیادت کویتی وزیر دفاع عزت مآب شیخ عبداللہ علی عبداللہ السلیم الصباح کر رہے تھے اور ان کے ہمراہ کویت کی مسلح افواج کے چیف آف جنرل سٹاف لیفٹیننٹ جنرل خالد درج سعد الشریان بھی تھے۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق بات چیت میں باہمی دلچسپی کے امور، علاقائی سلامتی اور دوطرفہ دفاعی تعاون پر بات چیت ہوئی۔ فریقین نے دونوں برادر ممالک کے درمیان ادارہ جاتی تعلقات کو بڑھانے اور باہمی طور پر فائدہ مند دفاعی تعاون کو وسعت دینے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا کویتی وفد نے پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کی غیر معمولی پیشہ ورانہ مہارت، آپریشنل مہارت اور قابل قدر خدمات کو سراہا۔ اعلیٰ سطحی روابط پاکستان اور کویت کے اپنے تاریخی، برادرانہ تعلقات کو مضبوط، پائیدار اور باہمی طور پر فائدہ مند دفاعی شراکت داری میں مزید مستحکم کرنے کے عزم کی نشاندہی کرتے ہیں کویتی قیادت نے پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کی بھرپور تعریف کی۔ دونوں ممالک نے تاریخی، برادرانہ رشتوں کو ایک پائیدار، مضبوط دفاعی شراکت داری میں تبدیل کرنے کے اپنے مکمل عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے ملاقات کا اختتام کیا جو پورے خطے میں امن کو فروغ دینے کے قابل ہے
