تیسری عالمی اسکاؤٹ بائیسکل جمبوری کااسلام آباد میں انعقاد Global Scout Bicycle Jamboree held in Islamabad

Khawaja Zaheeruddin Captain, founder of Early Bird Riders EBR and Captain Sheroes, organized the 3rd Global Scout Bicycle Jamboree (GSBJ) at Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad.
The rally was attended by men, women and children of all ages, the colorful event was open to all. The participants gathered at Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad and were briefed on the basic principles of cycling by the founder of Early Bird Riders.
Earlier, the founder, Early Bird Riders invited everyone from all walks of life to join the 3rd Global Scout Bicycle Jamboree/Rally.
Participants were instructed to gather on time and carry water bottles with them.
But the young participants were not provided with awareness about safety first and road safety for cycling.
During a practice session in front of the Girls Hostel Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad, three young girls could not maintain balance on the bicycle and fell. They were later helped by fellow girls, but no medical emergency staff of Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad was available.
After getting severe scratches on their knees and arms, this reporter advised these girls to go to the hospital and get tetanus vaccination. In a country like Pakistan, no official of the Capital Police in the capital Islamabad was present at this announced event, although this was a great opportunity to provide road safety information.
The participants were provided with temporary bicycles for cycling by taking their national identity cards, on which the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Affairs were widely advertised.
An online Google for e-certificates was provided to the participants. The form had to be filled and the original ID card had to be submitted for the bicycle. Children were allowed to take the bicycle on a first come, first served basis with a form or on the basis of the parents’ ID card.
Although it was a good initiative, many basic things are needed to organize such events so that the youth can be motivated to ride a bicycle. However, awareness regarding road safety is the need of the hour to avoid accidents while riding a bicycle.

ریلی میں ہر عمر کے مرد، خواتین اور بچے شامل ہوئے، رنگا رنگ تقریب سب کے لیے کھلا تھا۔ شرکاء پاکستان سپورٹس کمپلیکس اسلام آباد میں جمع ہوئے اور انہیں ارلی برڈ رائیڈرز کے بانی نے سائیکلنگ کے بنیادی اصولوں سے آگاہ کیا۔
قبل ازیں بانی، ارلی برڈ رائیڈرز نے تمام شعبہ ہائے زندگی سے تعلق رکھنے والے ہر فرد کو تیسری گلوبل سکاؤٹ بائیسکل جمبوری/ریلی میں شامل ہونے کی دعوت دی۔
شرکاء کو ہدایت کی گئی تھی کہ وہ وقت پر جمع ہوں اور پانی کی بوتلیں اپنے ساتھ رکھیں
لیکن کم سن پارٹیسیپنٹ کو سیفٹی فرسٹ اور سائیکلنگ کے لیے روڈ سیفٹی سے متعلق آگاہی نہ فراہم کی گئی تھی ,
گرلز ھاسٹل پاکستان سپورٹس کمپلیکس اسلام آباد کے سامنے پریکٹس سیشن کے دوران تین کمسن بچیاں سائیکل پر توازن برقرار نہ رکھ سکی اور گر گئیں جنہیں بعدازاں ساتھی لڑکیوں نے مدد فراہم کی لیکن پاکستان سپورٹس کمپلیکس اسلام آباد کا کوئی میڈیکل ایمرجنسی اسٹاف موقع موجود نہیں تھا
گھٹنے اور بازوں پر شدید خراشیں آنے پر اس نامہ نگار نے ان بچیوں کو ھاسپٹل جاکر ٹیٹنس ویکسینیشن کرانے کا مشورہ دیا، پاکستان جیسے ملک میں اسلام آباد دارالحکومت میں کیپٹل پولیس کا کو اہلکار بھی اس اعلان کردہ ایونٹ میں موجود نہ تھا حالانکہ روڈ سیفٹی معلومات فراہم کرنے کا یہ بہترین موقع تھا
شرکاء کو قومی شناختی کارڈ لیکر عارضی طور سائیکلنگ کے لیے سائیکل مہیا کی گئی جس پر وزارت داخلہ اور وزارت بین الصوبائی امور کی بھرپور تشہیر کی گئی تھی,
شرکاء کو ای سرٹیفیکیٹس کے لیے ایک آن لائن گوگل فارم پُر کرنا اور سائیکل کے لیے اپنا اصل شناختی کارڈ جمع کرانا تھا بچوں کو پہلے آنے پہلےپانے کی بنیاد پر ب فارم یا والدین کے شناختی کارڈ کی بنیاد پر سائیکل لینے کی اجازت تھی۔
اگرچہ یہ ایک اچھا اقدام تھا لیکن اس قسم کی تقریبات کا اہتمام کرنے کے لیے بہت سی بنیادی چیزوں کی ضرورت ہے تاکہ نوجوانوں میں سائیکل چلانے کے لیےحوصلہ افزائی پیدا کی جا سکے لیکن سائیکل چلاتے ہوئےحادثات سے بچنے , حفاظت کے لیےروڈ سیفٹی سے متعلق آگاہی وقت کا تقاضا ہے،
